We want the Hobbywerkstatt am Rhein to be a professional workspace — not a dumping ground. Order means your safety and your comfort
Disposal and Waste
We accept waste only when it's properly sorted:
Used oil (up to 10 L) — 5 €
Brake fluid — 5 €
Antifreeze — 5 €
General waste (filters, rags, packaging) — 5–10 €
Metal & cardboard (clean only) — free
Clean Tools and Workspace
Tools
Every tool goes back in its place clean only. Wipe each wrench and socket free of oil before hanging it back — so the next person finds everything clean and ready to use
Work area
After work, the floor and workbench are clean. Shavings, rags and packaging go in the bin, and spilled oil is wiped up right away
Time to tidy up
Set aside the last 15 minutes of your rental for cleaning up. This way you avoid a last-minute rush and the €50 dirt fee
Strict Rules
No dumping: Leaving piles of boxes, dirty parts or spilled fluids behind is not allowed. Whatever you bring in or remove, take it back with you or have it disposed of properly here
Dirt fee: A surcharge of €50 applies for any waste left behind or uncleaned tools. This is easy to avoid by setting aside a little time to tidy up at the end of your rental
Don't mix fluids: Pouring different fluids into one container is strictly forbidden! Used oil, brake fluid and antifreeze must be kept separate — that's the only way they can be disposed of safely and correctly

Repairs outside the workshop — especially in the parking area — are not allowed. The outdoor area is not a workspace: it lacks safe conditions, fluid containment and the necessary equipment. If you work outside anyway, it will be charged according to the price list shown on the website.
⏱️ Good to know: Every started hour is charged as a full hour. So plan your booking with a little buffer — including the last 15 minutes for cleaning up
